Director K. Biju, whose debut venture 'Dr. Love' is doing relatively good business at boxoffice, alleged that a few young Mollywood stars end up cheating directors by backing off from promised projects. Biju said that he was yet to receive an explanation from Prithviraj for refusing to do the film to which he had initially given his nod.
He added that nothing could compensate for the four years that he wasted anticipating a favourable move from the actor. When Prithviraj backed off, the producers too lost their interest in the project.
Biju was grateful to actor Kunchakko Boban and producer Thomas Shakthikulangara for their support during those testing times.
