Bodyguard emerges as a big winner at the Box Office

Bollywood has offered a big treat to its fans during this year's Eid and Ganesh festival seasons. Four Hindi films like Bodyguard, Bol, That Girl in Yellow Boots and Mummy Punjabi have hit the screens this weekend. Out of them, Salman Khan starrer Bodyguard has emerged as the winner at the Box Office and the remaining films have failed to do well at the collection centres.

The film Bodyguard has created history by reportedly collecting Rs 90 crores nett at the Box Office in its 5 day opening weekend. Salman-Kareena starrer has shattered all that records the collection centres on opening day by grossing Rs. 21.6 crores. It will be the first biggie to join the 'Rs 100 cr Club' so fast.

Another two movies That Girl In Yellow Boots and Bol have got rave reviews from film critics. But their collection was affected by the Bodyguard wave. They picked up marginally at select screens, but that wasn't enough. Their overall business is not in sync with the merits of the film. Mummy Punjabi was also failed to make it big the earnings.
